The sequel of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Badhaai Ho’ is coming soon on the screen. But we have more surprises for you!

The second part of Ayushmann’s family entertainer won’t have Khurrana charm in it. The filmmakers have replaced Ayushmann-Sanya Malhotra pair with Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, who confirmed this news by sharing pictures on their official social media account.

Take a look:

Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, the upcoming movie is titled as ‘Badhaai Do’, will bring Rajkummar into a cop’s role, who will be the only male officer in a women’s police station. Meanwhile Bhumi will embrace the character of a PT teacher.

This new social-comedy movie will also mark the reunion of Rajkummar Rao with the Junglee Pictures production house. Rao was last seen working with Junglee Pictures in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ along with Ayushmann and Kriti Sanon. ‘Badhaai Do’ will also bring Rajkummar-Bhumi pair for the first time on the screen. Both the actors are known for experimenting with their roles, and for a long time audience was waiting to see them together on the screen.

The shooting has not yet begun but ‘Badhaai Do’ is scheduled to release by early 2021.
