Bollywood’s most loved and powerful couple tied the knot on June 3, 1973 and today they have completed 46 years of togetherness. It all started when the couple met each other for the first time on the sets of 1971 film Guddi. From there on they did many movies together. As the couple celebrates their 46th wedding anniversary today, his son Abhishek Bachchan shares a beautiful picture of the duo with a sweet message that says, ‘Happy Anniversary to the parental! In the picture, Amitabh Bachchan is looking dapper in a black sweatshirt over a white shirt paired with black rectangular spectacles while Jaya Bachchan is looking absolutely beautiful in an off-white suit paired with matching necklet and earrings.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in an upcoming Telegu language ancient drama, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which will also star Tamannaah Bhatia and Chiranjeevi. Big B will also be seen in Karan Johar’s fantasy film Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The film is slated to hit the cinemas this year on December 20. Moreover, he will also be playing a lead role in Rumi Jaffery’s mystery thriller film Chehre which will also feature Emraan Hashmi and Kriti Kharbanda.
