Seven years ago Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket in November and commemorating his life-changing event, Master Blaster took to his official social media handle to share a special memory of the day.

Sachin posted a video where he talks about his retirement and the special gift that he received from the West Indies Cricket Board  and his friends Brian Lara and Chris Gayle as a gesture of love. The legendary cricketer shared the video clip of it on his social media handle by writing, “On this day 7 years ago, @windiescricket and my friends @brianlaraofficial & @chrisgayle333 presented me with this beautiful steel drum.

I will always be grateful for such a wonderful gift and thank them for their love and respect.

Sachin while connecting with his virtual family also revealed that when Lara had visited his home, he had played the instrument and then even he tried his hand on the steel drum and played beautiful music for his fans and followers.
