To keep people safe and informed about COVID-19, Facebook is supporting the global public health community’s work during the public health crisis. The social media platform is also working to address the long-term impacts by supporting and offering help to industries.
One can get access to accurate information on all Facebook owned apps, like Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook as well. Facebook has banned ads for medical face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.
Facebook is empowering partners with data and tools. They are helping local governments and emergency health organizations reach people via Facebook. Making the app more reliable, Facebook has dropped a new feature. Now, Facebook and Instagram will have an alert at the top of the social media platforms. This will remind the users to wear face masks while stepping out and find more preventive measures
