Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has released a statement today, breaking his silence on the Galwan Valley Incident that took place in Ladakh on 15-16 June where 20 soldiers were killed in a face-off between India and China, as the neighbouring country was trying to take hold of Indian land.
Mr Sigh urged the current Prime MInister Narendra Modi to “rise to the occasion” and ensure justice to Colonel B Santosh Babu and other soldiers who sacrificed their lives fighting for the nation and not to lose control of our own land from the brazen threat and illegal move of China.
In the Press Statement of the Former Prime Minister which was shared by Indian National Congress on its social media page, Manmohan Singh also reminded the Government about the wrong effect of misinformation which curbs the growth of democracy. He also emphasized that the PM should ensure that all the Government bodies work in unanimity to tackle this hour of distress and crisis.
