2011 World Cup winning Indian teammates Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh took to social media to take a dig at former Indian coach Greg Chappell who spoke about Dhoni’s finishing skills as a batsman.
In a Facebook interaction, Greg Chappell spoke about how he played a major role in molding MS Dhoni into a calculative finisher. The coach recalled a match against Sri Lanka where he challenged Dhoni to hit along the ground instead of hitting boundaries and sixers out of the ground.
Responding to the comments on Mahi, Harbhajan Singh tweeted that Chappell always had a different game under his sleeve though he would ask Dhoni to play along the ground. Adding to this, Yuvraj Singh tweeted that Chappell would tell him also to not hit big shots and play along the ground.
Have a look at the funny tweets about Chappell’s comment on Dhoni:
🤣 Msd and Yuvi no sixes in the last 10 play down the ground
