Riding high on wins, Team India’s trio created magic in the decider match.
In the third T20, India won against West Indies at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Not only did they clinch the match, India seized the series by 2-1.
After losing the second T20 in Trivandrum, the Indian team opted for a power hitting approach from the start of the innings. The show of 16 sixers and 19 boundaries was presented by KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

2633 runs – Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli finished at the joint top spot on the all-time T20I runs chart.
1064 runs – Virat Kohli is the third batsman to have scored 1000+ runs in T20Is at home.
One match, Three 70+ runs – Kl Rahul, Rohit and Kohli were on fire, each scoring more than half a ton. This was the first time three batsmen have scored similar runs in the same T20 game.
404 sixes – Rohit Sharma became the third player to have hit 400 plus sixes in all cricketing formats, Tests, ODI and T20.
Now, India is scheduled to play three match ODI series against West Indies and then play three T20 against Sri Lanka in early January next year.
