As the country geared up for Durga Pooja, in accordance with the rituals, each day is dedicated to a form of the goddess and has a favourite colour. Devotees use the colour in decorations, flowers and wear clothes of that colour, to appease the goddess.

2. Sara Ali Khan
The ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Simbaa’ actress is spending time with her family in Kolkata. She was also seen pandal hopping with her friends in the city of joy. Accompanied by her daughter, Ash was twinning with Aaradhya in a white kurta as they headed into town to worship Durga Maa. Taking to Instagram, she shared a carfie with her little princess, captioned, “Happy Dussehra and Vijaya Dashami to ALL🎊💐Much warmth, love and happiness God Bless ✨💝✨”.
4. Sushmita Sen
Former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen opted for a traditional Bengali look for Durga pooja and well, she did justice to it. Wearing a red and white saree and accessorizing it with Bengali bangles and bindi, the actress looked like a Bengali beauty. Visiting pandals in Mumbai, the actress celebrated the festive with her daughters.
5. Bipasha Basu
After marriage, Bipasha celebrated her first sindoor khela with her family. Showcasing pure love and excitement for Durga Pooja, she shared a series of pictures on her social media, reads, “First sindoor khela after marriage with my sisters. Miss you Ma and Papa ❤ #durgadurga”.
