Vicky Kaushal has done two patriot films, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ to support Indian Army and has stunned everyone with his amazing performance in the films. Not to forget, his film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ was also re-released on the day of Kargil Vijay Divas to celebrate and honour the Indian Army.
And now, in his recent post, Vicky Kaushal mentioned that he is elated to spend few days with Army Jawans by sharing a picture in which he is seen folding his hands with a smile on his face as the Indian Jawans are cheering him up. The ‘Raazi’ actor and the Jawans are donning the same army outfits. Vicky captions the picture saying, “Elated to be getting an opportunity to spend a few days with our Indian Army posted at 14,000ft altitude at the Indo-China border of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. #JaiJawaan”.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has four films in his kitty as per now. He will be seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film ‘Takht’ which will be featuring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. He is also roped in to play the role of Udham Singh in Shoojit Sircar’s real life story film titled ‘Sardar Udham Singh’. Dharma Productions is anchoring a new franchise of fear titled ‘Bhoot-Part One: The Haunted Ship’ in which Vicky Kaushal will be seen opposite Bhumi Pednekar.
On 27 June, Vicky Kaushal also posted a picture on his Instagram handle in an army outfit, announcing his yet another untitled patriot film which will showcase the journey of the swashbuckling general, the first Field Marshal of India- ‘Sam Manekshaw.’
