They are gaining popularity in recent times, especially in aromatherapies, spas, massages, and holistic body care.  You can apply them topically for a repertoire of beauty benefits. But since they are highly concentrated, never use them directly on to the skin. Always use them with a carrier oil, shea butter or with a moisturiser of your choice.

 

Lavender Oil

Famous for its fragrance, lavender oil enhances the production of antioxidants and thus helps in the healing of minor cuts, and prevents scarring. It also fades stretch marks, reduces stress, and induces sound sleep.

 


 

Tea Tree Oil

Though Ylang Ylang oil has been used for centuries in Asian and South Pacific Islands, the goodness of this oil has been recognised globally only recently. The oil fights fungal and bacterial infection,s helps to retain moisture in the skin and is a good aphrodisiac.

 


 

Frankincense Oil

This oil slows the ageing process by healing stretched pores, preventing wrinkles, eliminating sunspots, toning and tightening loose skin, and lightening scars. It also helps in the regeneration of new skin cells.
