Endless selfies, food porn and bikini photos are just some of the delights we now see regularly thanks to Instagram. The latest insta-category to give thanks for? Bizarre (I repeat, BIZARRE) beauty trends.
At first it was contouring, which actually became something that normalized itself. Then there was the ill-fated #kyliejennerlipchallenge(still lolling at that one), furry nails (Ew!), crystal lips (totally unrealistic) and the list goes on. Ah the internet – it’s just a gift that keeps on giving, isn’t it?
Luckily for us, nothing has changed this month – the trends are just as abnormal, appealing and yes, slightly alarming. So have a look and ask yourself – are you game for this glam?

Don’t be afraid to play with colour this month. Try by accentuating the inner corners of your eyes with a bright yellow shadow or eyeliner.

Things got pretty imperial at the Gucci 2019 Cruise show, where models stormed the runway with Elizabeth I-inspired hairstyles.
Hairstylist Paul Hanlon treated models to curly, gravity-defying bouffant that paid honor to the late monarch’s iconic style, complete with intricate braided buns. We’re sort of into it.
