After ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, Vidya Balan starrer ‘Shakuntala Devi’ is heading for a digital release on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
Directed by Anu Menon, Vidya will play the titular role and the movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. But, the release date of the movie still remains under the covers.
Based on the life of famous mathematician Shakuntala Devi who was nicknamed the ‘human computer’, the dramatic biopic will show her individuality, strong feminist voice and how she made numbers all about fun.
Announcing the digital release of ‘Shakuntala Devi’ on Amazon Prime, Vidya Balan shared a new poster of the movie on Instagram. Take a look:
