The COVID-19 cases are spiraling up across the nation with more than twenty thousand victims recorded everyday, the State Government is taking firm steps in containing the pandemic.
As several states have announced the lockdown, Uttar Pradesh also followed the pathway of announcing strict lockdown.
Commencing from today 10PM, the Uttar Pradesh lockdown will go on till 5AM Monday and only essential services will be allowed.
Apart from it, UP Government has clearly announced that Government offices, malls, shops and other commercial establishments will stay shut and health officials will conduct a door-to-door survey for the containing the contagious disease.
However, there will be no restrictions on flights and trains and the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will be allowed to operate buses for train passengers.
