Probably heard of Boho-chic or Bohemian or hippie? Well, reviving the ‘60s is Bollywood with this latest furore in high street fashion. By now we all know, how bohemian is not just a trend but has now become a lifestyle. Stripes, checks, paisleys, floral and other such outfits with Indian motifs can easily be transformed into desi-boho outfits. Inspired by our five celebrities, you can have some easiest ways to rock the desi bohemian look.

Anushka Sharma can be called the torchbearer of boho fashion. She wanted a boho look for the Mehendi ceremony in her dream wedding. So fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee created a graphic design lehenga in fuchsia pink and Indian orange. It was hand-printed by the Kolkata block printers and hand embroidered with gota and marori. She paired up her look with stunning jhumkas.

Athiya Shetty always carried a sporty vibe, but this time she goes around the boho-chic style. We are totally crushing over her hippie style fashion. This pretty number is from Hemant & Nandita and is a button-down maxi dress cinched at the waist with delicate embroidery and billowy sleeves. She styles the dress with a stack of arm candy in one hand, a layered necklace that follows the V-neckline, and minimal rings.

Actor Shilpa Shetty is a fashion chameleon. One moment she’s gliding down the red carpet in très chic dresses the other, she is seen wowing in separates and saris. And now she’s bursting onto our fashion radar with her stylish hippie boho look. The actor dressed in a matching charcoal and blush-hued set by Punit Balana that paired a full-sleeved crop top with a long; float skirt demonstrated how ladylike flourishes can elevate a whimsical, romantic ensemble. Her silver jewellery was the ideal topper bringing balance to her free-spirited printed cords.

Aditi Rao Hydari rarely disappoints us when it comes to giving a desi twist to contemporary outfits. To attend the Orion Fashion Week in Bangalore, the actor donned a red wrap-around dress with vibrant ethnic prints, which stylist Sanam Ratansi teamed with basic blue denim. We totally like the very bohemian concept of combining a peppy ethnic print like this with a pair of jeans and camel boots.

Illeana D’Cruz gives us modern day princess vibes and some days, she channels her inner boho-princess in the most desi way. Spotted at the trailer launch of her upcoming movie Raid, Ileana wore a beautiful black and red sari from Tarun Tahiliani. The blouse of the sari sported a mix of colours with embellishments that added a touch of tribal art to the ensemble. A pair of silver from Aquamarine and loads of bracelets stacked on her arm from Minerali Store further gave us boho vibes.
