The giant Korean company Samsung has launched the toned down version of its flagship Galaxy S20 smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) that is set to deliver the same experience at a low price.
The new Galaxy phone follows the same design route and is available in both 4G and 5G versions. The smartphone runs on Android 10 and the 4G model is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 SoC while the 5G option comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC processor. The FE phones sport a super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, flaunting a pixel density of 407ppi.

As we all know S20’s main charms are the cameras and the company without letting it down, have placed a triple rear camera setup in the phone that houses a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter with 30X zoom support. S20 FE also features a 32MP selfie camera that supports autofocus with f/2.0 sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with IP68 body rating and packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging and wireless charging. Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare feature is also in the phone that allows to transfer the charge among various supported devices.

Galaxy S20 FE will be available in six colours; Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud White, and will go on sale from 2 October. The S20 FE is open for pre-orders from today onwards and the phone carries a price tag of $ 699 for its 5G model.
