And it’s a wrap for the 2020 season of Formula One!

Racing for their respective teams, the drivers for the last time rallied out on the track at Abu Dhabi and the familiar faces again ruled the race with Red Bull’s star Max Verstappen finishing first for the second time in this season.

The ace driver of Mercedes who reigned in the 2020 season, Lewis Hamilton also made a comeback post COVID recovery, having a podium finish by grabbing the third position while his teammate Valtteri Bottas stood firmly on the second position.

While many racers will be staying with their current teams, several bid adieu to their alliances to start afresh in the upcoming season. In the concluding race, Mercedes stayed on the top of the Constructor’s chart with Red Bull following it. Mc Laren clinched the third position, finishing in the top three after a gap of seven years.

The next season is scheduled to start from the mid of March, 2021 and end in December at Abu Dhabi and will feature the first-ever World Championship race in Saudi Arabia.
