The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the ODI squad for the three match series that’ll be played against New Zealand in their home country.

Also, the cricket board has Sanju Samson named as the replacement of injured Shikhar Dhawan in the squad for the five match T20I series. While, Prithvi Shaw has been handed a maiden ODI call-up, making it a major boost to his international career.

Virat Kohli will lead both the ODI and the T20I squads while Rohit Sharma has been named vice-captain. Now take a look at the ODI Squad of the Indian team:

 

In the T20 squad, the new additions are Sanju Samson and Kedar Jadhav.

Days after making a comeback win over Australia in the ODI series, India is all geared for a long tour against New Zealand, starting 24 January, and they will play five T20, three ODI and two Tests. Virat and company have touched down in Auckland.

With the first T20 being played in two days at the Eden Park in Auckland against New Zealand, the Indian captain headed out in the city to relish a good meal after an intense gym session with his teammates KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Manish Pandey.
