Saluting the hardworking taxpayers, PM Modi launched the ‘Transparent Taxation – Honoring The Honest’ platform today at 11 PM via video conference.
The main aim of the platform is to initiate various reforms in the tax system and bring more transparency, empowering the taxpayers for a better future of the nation.
The main features of the platform are Faceless Assessment and Taxpayers Charter which will be effective from today onwards while the third feature Faceless Appeal will come into action from 25 September, on the birth occasion of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
Moreover, the PM also talked about the tax reforms that have been made in the past few years and the measures introduced by the Income Tax Department to promote digital transactions and help the taxpayers during the COVID times.
