New Face Of ‘La Liga’

Apart from making hit records on the cricket grounds, our own Cricketer Rohit Sharma has once again created history. And this time it is not in the cricket field.

The Indian skipper is appointed as the brand ambassador of top tier football league ‘La Liga’ in India and became the first ambassador hailing from a non-football background in the past ninety years of soccer history.

We all know that Rohit is a huge supporter of the Spanish team and whenever he gets free time he loves playing football.

Post announcement by ‘La Liga’, the cricketer also took to his social media and shared a picture with ‘La Liga’ trophy, a bat in hand while expressing his love for the game.

With the photo, he also wrote, “Hola India/España, as you guys know, football has always held a special place in my heart so this association is so special to me. And to be named the ambassador for the La Liga is so humbling. So excited for this partnership @LaLigaEN”.
