On call, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden!

The two world leaders had a telephonic call where they agreed to continue close cooperation on a number of fields like climate change, terrorism, re-build global economy, fight the COVID-19 pandemic and freedom of navigation.

Modi and Biden are looking forward to what can be achieved ‘together for their people and for their nations’ as well as promote a ‘free and open Indo-Pacific’. The two countries will also strengthen the regional and global arena through the Quad, which stands for Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, an informal strategic forum of the US, Japan, Australia, and India.

Earlier, PM Modi also tweeted that he and President Biden discussed  “shared priorities” and expressed commitment to a “rule-based international order”.
