The Bollywood actress, has invested one crore rupees in a Bengaluru-based startup along with her mother Vrinda KR, which provides data about the air quality. Previously, she invested in wind power projects in Maharashtra.

Ambee is an environmental data provider startup but a product of Datair Technology. It was started in 2017 by Akshay Joshi, Jaideep Singh and Madhusudan Anand in Bengaluru. The company monitors air quality and has installed over a 100 sensors in Bengaluru, till date. The platform uses proprietary data and analytics to help users take preventive measures in a situation of severe pollution.
