Pakistani actress Mahira Khan shared a heartwarming open letter to all her fans in which she thanked all the artists and her followers for extending their support against the sexist comment of veteran actor Firdaus Jamal. Sharing the picture of a handwritten letter on her Instagram handle, Mahira shared her thoughts on her journey in the film industry and the proud feeling she has for working there.
Showing her gratitude towards the senior artists who have paved a path for people like her, she says, “I am also proud of myself. In this journey of mine, I can proudly say that I have done what I thought was right and never succumbed to what others thought was right for me. That – I will continue to do. InshAllah”.
She further adds that in a world full of hatred, people should be more inclined towards love and ignore other people’s opinions. She also took a moment to address the negative mindset that people have towards a successful woman. Mahira ended her letter explaining the Latin translation of ‘Stardom’ as thank you to the fans when it was lonely.
