The release date of Puri Jagannadh’s much-awaited movie ‘Liger’ has been announced and has filled the Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s fans with exhilaration.
Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, the curiosity amidst the netizens was infilled yesterday by Karan Johar as the director-producer shared a post over his social media handle where the lead Ananya shared out her excitement about the upcoming movie and sent out a message to tune in today at 8.14 am to hear the grand news about the theatrical release of the multilingual movie.

And today at sharp 8.14am, KJo took to his social media account and announced that the movie will have a theatrical release on 9 September, 2021 along with the words: “All set to pack a punch around the globe! #Liger is releasing in theatres on 9th September worldwide in 5 languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. #Liger9thSept #SaalaCrossbreed @TheDeverakonda @ananyapandayy #PuriJagannadh @charmmeofficial @apoorvamehta18” and also shared the poster of the movie where Vijay can be seen in a powerful stance.

The multi-lingual movie ‘Liger’ is directed by ‘Badri’ famed Puri Jagannadh and will bring the story of a kickboxer played by Vijay. The movie went on the floor last year in February and suffered a halt due to the COVID pandemic.
