Virat Kohli led from the front and slammed 77 against England in the third T20I but India lost the match by 8 wickets.

England came out in full form at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, played behind closed doors due to an uprise in coronavirus cases. From outstanding fielding attack which saved runs from reaching the scoreboard to Jos Butler’s batting magic with the unbeaten 83 and bowling spell by Mark Wood who took three wickets at crucial points of the game.

The Indian team couldn’t get the game together from the first over and the fall of three early wickets put the boys under pressure. Scoring just 156 in 20 overs, the English squad chased the score down within no time with ten balls still in hand.

Before wrapping up England’s tour to India, both the top teams will face each other for two more T20Is with England leading the series by 2-1 for now. Watch out for more action on 18 March as well as 20 March!
