Jio Brings In VoWifi

Since its launch in the winters of 2015, Reliance Jio has brought a revolution in the telecom services with its various lucrative plans. Be it, cheap data plans or less call cost or cheap handsets, the services provided by Jio also changed the face of its rivals, making it one of the biggest influencers among its peers.

Now after celebrating a few years of its success, the Jio network has introduced VoWifi services pan India through which a better voice and video call quality is promised to the customer.

So what is this VoWifi?

The Wifi calling allows you to call across the nation free of cost over any Wifi services using your existing Jio number. If the Wifi connection goes weak, the call automatically switches over to GSM or VoLTE network, giving you stable and clear call quality.

For the users of the Jio Network, this new service brings in no extra cost meanwhile supporting over 150 handset models that are enabled with Wifi networking feature.

The telecom company also released a demo video showing the steps to set up the service.
