Ahead of Austria going into another lockdown due to the second wave of COVID-19, a terror attack was witnessed in Vienna at six different locations starting near the main synagogue of the city.

At around 8 PM in the night, gunmen opened fire in Central Vienna which left around 15 people injured while costing the lives of three. In the attack, one of the gunmen was shot dead by the Vienna police while the other one is still on the run.

France which already is going through an internal disruption stood by Austria and French President Emmaneul Macron sent out a stern message to the aggressor group stating: “After France, it is a friendly country that is attacked. This is our Europe. Our enemies must know who they are dealing with. We will not give up anything.”
