Post winning the toss, Indian team opted to bat first where the batting line from Indian players fell flat while Yashasvi Jaiswal alone contributed to 88 runs out of 177 runs. In the second inning, the Bangladeshi team put their best foot forward to break the defending game of India scoring 170 runs in 42.1 overs and were declared the winner through Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method as the match was interrupted by the rain.

Meanwhile, the Indian National Team has met tough luck in their three days ODI series against New Zealand.
In Auckland, New Zealand, Indian men were knocked off at 251 runs in their second match, leading the Kiwis to win the series 2-0. The final match of the series will be held on 11 February at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
