Diwali festivities is incomplete without going through all the glitzy and bedazzling pictures posted by celebrities on social media. Be it Twitter or Instagram, we are all guilty of peeking at it, and this year celebrations kicked off with Shah Rukh Khan’s dazzling Diwali bash.

Veteran star Amitabh Bachchan shared photos from the Lakshmi Puja he performed at his residence in Mumbai. The pic includes Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya with their daughter Aaradhya offering prayer as the caption reads, ‘Deepavali JI anek anek shubhkamanayein ..’.

Amitabh also shared another photo of his family busting crackers, like a happy Indian family. Meanwhile, Aish too shared a couple of adorable snaps with Aaradhya and Abhishek.

The bride-to-be, Priyanka Chopra, who was last spotted enjoying her bachelorette party in the US, flew back to India to celebrate Diwali with family. Sharing pics with mother Madhu Chopra and brother Sidharth Chopra, she wrote, ‘Happy Diwali. So good to be home to celebrate with my loved ones. I wish for the world to be bestowed with love, light and happiness.’

Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli too lit up social media by sharing a pic of their Diwali celebration from their Mumbai home. Both are dressed sharply in Indian ethnic wear, as she wrote, ‘Happy Diwali from our home ✨ May you all find the light in you this Diwali’
