Former Indian Cricket Captain, Sourav Ganguly turned 47, today. Famous by the name ‘Dada, Ganguly surprised his fans by joining Instagram on his birthday. He posted a picture of him cutting a cake, captioning it, ‘As I turn another year older today, I want to make this a year where I give back to my fans. So here’s to birthdays and new beginnings! 
The Bengal Tiger has always been appreciated for his efforts in building the Indian Cricket team and nurturing the young and fresh talents. Harbhajan Singh, Sehwag, Yuvi and MS Dhoni have made their debut under his leadership.
Known for his iconic shirtless celebration in NatWest Final of 2002, Ganguly holds a special place in the history of Indian cricket. He proved to be a very tough and uncompromising leader, laying down the foundation for a strong Indian Cricket team.
