Ever imagined a city where there are no roads, no cars and nothing separating us from nature?

During the Industrial revolution, mankind preferred cars, automobiles, roads and factories over people but Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plan is to reimagine a city where we connect more to our surrounding and nature rather than mechanical objects.

‘The Line’ is the first major urban development in 150 years not designed around roads and operates on an invisible layer of infrastructure. And the Liquid Gold nation dropped the blueprint of it on the social media platforms.

The glimpse of this new city, which would be spread over a distance of 170kms and in a single line, was shared on the social media platform along with the caption: “Welcome to the new future.

Welcome to THE LINE.”

The new city will be built to promote sustainability and reduce the carbon footprint that hampers nature, causing a rise in global temperature along with several other adverse effects. The $500 billion giga project will be populated by one million people from across the world.
