Celebrating The Power Of Women Scientists!

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar unveiled film Mission Mangal teaser yesterday. The film is all about the women scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission.

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram handle to celebrate women scientists by sharing a happy group picture with film’s cast. He says, ‘Be it making a home or launching a successful space mission, women know it all! Celebrating the power of women scientists: #MissionMangal is their story!’

The film features Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari as women scientists, while Akshay Kumar will be portraying the role of Rakesh Dhawan.

The official page of ISRO also reacted to the teaser of the film with an inspiring comment on Akshay Kumar’s post. They write, ‘Ek Desh. Ek Sapna. India to be a space superpower. Few Days to go for achieving new Milestone! #Chandrayaan2’.

Akshay Kumar is known to be very picky in terms of films he does. Recently, he has grabbed 33 spot in Forbes’ World’s Highest Paid Entertainers List for 2019. He is the only face from Bollywood to make it to Forbes’ Annual Highest-Paid Celebrities list, while for the second time, singer Taylor Swift stands at the top of the list.
