She wrote, ‘A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time.’

Post the emotional distress, the 37-year-old checked herself into a psychiatric facility about a week ago where she will live for 30 days, according to the sources. The Baby, One More Time hitmaker is taking a break from work and social media for some ‘me-time’, she recently posted a photo that read, ‘Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit’ along with the caption, ‘We all need to take a little time for a little ‘me time.’’

Her mental issues date back to 2007, where apparently, she had shaved her head and attacked the paparazzi with an umbrella. She later had to check into the psych ward at UCLA’s Medical Centre.
