Spread across 2,60,000 sq. ft., the new pedestrian-friendly culinary and social destination was introduced to the city through two specially curated events, Open Plate, a free, open-air music festival on the first day, followed by World St. Live on the second day. The celebrations marked the formal opening of World St. at Worldmark, inviting residents and visitors across Delhi NCR to discover the new social and lifestyle destination at Worldmark, Aerocity.

The launch weekend commenced on 31st October with Open Plate, a free, open-air music festival at The Commons, Gateway District – GMR Aerocity, opening the destination to the wider public. The celebrations continued on 1st November with World St. Live, an exclusive private gathering attended by dignitaries and top management from Bharti Enterprises and GMR Group. A key highlight of the evening was a special performance by the KM Sufi Ensemble, a musical group founded and trained at A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory. The evening also featured an engaging mix of live street performances, including violin and cello artists, a harpist, a flautist, golden statue performers and unicycle acts, creating a vibrant atmosphere and offering guests an opportunity to experience the dining, retail and cultural experiences envisioned at World St. at Worldmark.

“Worldmark has always been envisioned as a global business district. Our ambition is to create a destination where people can work, connect, unwind and spend quality time together. With World St. at Worldmark, we are bringing this vision to life by creating a vibrant social and lifestyle destination that brings together some of the finest global and Indian brands in dining, retail and leisure. Spread across 2.6 lakh sq. ft., it is designed to be the social spine of Worldmark, offering an experience that extends well beyond the workplace. Our two-day launch celebration reflects this vision, with World St. Live bringing together our stakeholders through curated cultural experiences and engaging street performances, followed by Open Plate, which opens the destination to the wider city through music, food and entertainment. Through these celebrations, we want people to experience this place not just as a dining and retail destination, but as a vibrant public space where culture, community and everyday experiences come together,” said S. K. Sayal, MD & CEO, Bharti Real Estate.

World St. at Wordmark is part of the larger Worldmark Aerocity development, envisioned as a Global Business District of nearly 17 million sq. ft. combining offices, retail, hospitality and social experiences.
