An Extravagant Harry Potter Themed Party For The Ambani’s Guests

We were just recovering from the grand 3-day pre-wedding Winter Wonderland bash in Switzerland by the Ambanis for their son, Akash Ambani’s wedding to Shloka Mehta, and now the richest family of Asia took us by fascination by throwing a Harry Potter themed party for their guests.

The celebration kicked off in Mumbai with candles floating in the air to the exact replica dinner table at Hogwarts and of the Platform 9 ¾ with the Hogwarts Express. With endless delicacies and performance by none other than the Punjabi sensation Guru Randhawa made the party truly had all the ‘magical’ elements from our beloved Hogwarts.

The Ambanis’ residence ‘Antilia’ has been decked up for the biggest wedding the country has ever seen with stunning chandeliers, red and white flowers and strings of lights ahead of the wedding. Akash Ambani is all set to tie the knot with Shloka Mehta on March 9, after ‘Mala and Mehendi’ function on March 7, at Jio World Centre, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The wedding ceremony will be followed by Mangal Parv celebration and reception.

Earlier last year the Brown University alumnus had proposed to Shloka, daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta, in Goa. The two high-school lovebirds got engaged in June 2018 in a string of lavish ceremonies in Mumbai. This was followed by a grand and star-studded engagement at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence in June.
