Indian Designers and Jewellery Labels Showcased at the 79th Festival de Cannes at Asian European Fashion Show on 21st May, 2026

Continuing India’s strong presence at the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival 2026, internationally renowned Show Director Liza Varma from India led a delegation of Indian designers and jewellery labels across multiple fashion showcases held on 21st May 2026.

At the Los Angeles Fashion Closet by Shagun Gupta (LAFC Showcase) – Mode De Cannes, held at the Carlton Hotel, Cannes from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (CEST), celebrated Indian designers Samant Chauhan, Nitika Gujral, Richa Bhatia, Rishi Vibhuti and Le Marquise Jewellery by Sambhav Jain and Jasmine Gulati Jain showcased their collections through a curated international presentation. The showcase brought together diverse Indian design sensibilities and contemporary craftsmanship on a global platform.

Speaking about the initiative, Liza Varma said, “Cannes continues to serve as an important international platform to showcase the diversity and strength of Indian fashion and design talent. Through these showcases, our aim is to create meaningful global visibility and opportunities for both emerging and established Indian designers and jewellery labels.”

The showcases formed part of a broader initiative led by Liza Varma to create sustained international exposure for Indian fashion talent during the Cannes period through curated runway presentations, fashion collaborations, and global industry participation.
