Musicathon, India’s beloved homegrown independent music festival, is all set to return with an all-new edition on January 24–25, 2026 at The Lumi, Bir. Known for celebrating heartfelt artistry and emerging talents against the backdrop of the scenic Himalayas, Musicathon is continuing its tradition of bringing together travel and music enthusiasts from across the country for two immersive days of melody and mountain.
Since its origin in 2019, Musicathon has evolved from being a humble café gathering into an annual community-driven festival that empowers independent music and eco-friendly experiences. Bir, with its tranquil charm and soothing environment has remained the festival’s soulful home, inviting attendees to enjoy not just music, but explore the magic of slow travel, camping, connecting with same-mindset travellers and of course, paragliding
This year’s edition features a vibrant and exciting lineup of artists, each bringing their own signature music style such as modern-day composer and singer, Aditya Sirsa whose song ‘Chand Balliyan’ became a viral sensation, Khalid Ahamed, the charismatic frontman of Parvaaz, and Arjan Singh, and Siddharth Gupta, singer-songwriters will create a music spell. The stage will also be graced by Twinkle Agarwal, a rising musician with her contemporary fusion style, and two young singers- Punit Singh, and Shivang Narang gaining attention for their soulful voice. This edition will also have Diggipal Rathore, rustic folk storyteller, Piyush Bhisekar who is celebrated for his poetic songwriting and soothing indie-pop soundscapes, and Vanika, a dynamic performer with a refreshing approach to indie-folk and soft pop. Adding to the soulful lineup are Divya Belwal from Uttarakhand, whose emotive vocals and introspective songwriting reflect the spirit of the mountains, and Himachal-born Gaurav Guleria, as Musicathon continues to amplify independent voices and artists emerging from the Himalayas.
