This exclusive event is housefull and promises a night of extraordinary music dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of the Kala Ghoda Art District.
This concert serves as a cornerstone in the mission to fund essential restoration projects and safeguard the cultural essence of the renowned South Mumbai precinct. Speaking about the upcoming event, Brinda Miller, Chairperson of Kala Ghoda Association and Festival Director, shares, “As we embark on the milestone 25th edition of the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, we are thrilled to continue our journey of celebrating art and community in the heart of Mumbai. The Rahul Deshpande Collective Concert is our attempt at garnering support and raising funds for the iconic, historic, and artistic culture of Kala Ghoda; restoring our structures, and preserving our treasures with the unwavering support of our collaborators, patrons, and audiences.”
Rahul Deshpande, an acclaimed Indian classical music singer from Pune, is known for his unique contributions to the classical music scene. Grandson of the legendary Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande of the Patiala Gharana, Rahul Deshpande’s ensemble promises a memorable evening, offering a melodic celebration of India’s classical music legacy. The event is being managed by The Event Company and Ginger PR.
This year, we are also celebrating the CSMVS Ancient World Gallery Project, with this concert marking the closing act of the exhibition titled “Ancient Sculptures” at the CSMVS Museum.
