New Delhi, September 2026: Contemporary jewellery label KEYA by Adbhut marked its association with Delhi Art Weekend 2026, held from 25–27 September at Travancore Palace, New Delhi, bringing its distinctive approach to jewellery, craftsmanship and nature to one of the city’s key cultural gatherings.

The Delhi Art Weekend brought together artists, designers, cultural practitioners, collectors and creative communities through exhibitions, conversations, workshops, performances and curated retail. The weekend explored the intersections of art, design, music and contemporary culture, creating a platform for emerging and established creative voices.

For KEYA by Adbhut, the association offered an opportunity to introduce its artistic language to an audience engaged with contemporary art and collecting. Founded by Jaipur-based jewellery designer, researcher and author Keya Agarwal Badhalia, the label approaches jewellery as more than adornment, creating limited, collectible works of art that happen to be wearable.

Rooted in India’s centuries-old jewellery-making traditions, KEYA by Adbhut reinterprets techniques including Jadau, Partash, Meenakari, Gulabi Meena and Utarai through a contemporary lens. The brand’s debut collections, Under the Ocean and Into the Forest, draw from the intricacies of the natural world, translating shells, marine life, foliage, wildlife and fantastical forms into sculptural jewellery.

A defining aspect of each KEYA piece is its individuality. Every work is produced in limited quantities and individually numbered, while the reverse of each jewel features hand-painted detailing, creating a personal element that makes every piece distinct.

The brand’s creative approach is also informed by Mughal miniature painting, particularly its extraordinary observation and rendering of nature. This dialogue between painting, craftsmanship and jewellery is central to Keya’s practice, where traditional Indian techniques become a vocabulary for exploring contemporary forms and ideas.

“KEYA by Adbhut was created to explore what Indian jewellery can become when craftsmanship is treated as an artistic medium. Our association with Delhi Art Weekend allowed us to place that conversation within a wider cultural ecosystem of art, design and collecting,” says Keya Agarwal Badhalia, Founder & Designer, KEYA by Adbhut.

Through its presence at Delhi Art Weekend, KEYA by Adbhut continues to build a dialogue around Indian craftsmanship as contemporary art, celebrating the skill, history and imagination embedded within techniques passed down through generations while giving them a new visual language for today’s collector.
