This Sunday, Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai brought to life elaborate wedding set-ups, and it was enchanting to say the least

The big fat Indian wedding is breathtaking, dramatic and (admit it) hectic too. A huge part of the planning process is booking the venue and deciding on the caterer, décor and the look and feel of the two-day affair. Taking anxiety and apprehensions out of the equation, Courtyard by Marriott hosted a Shaadi by Marriott wedding brunch for all the potential brides and grooms of the town.

The event took place on the 10th April, Sunday, at the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport. To allow guests to envisage their big day, the Marriott team put together an entire wedding set up for their guests to experience the day ahead of the festivities and right before they dive into planning. The event kicked off with a showcase of larger-than-life décor ideas, followed by a sample of what a customized and curated menu with Marriott would look like. Consider this as an effort to showcase the brand’s expertise and share a glimpse of what a wedding would look like with Courtyard by Marriott.

Right from the main porch where a horse was stationed, as at a real wedding, to the lobby decorated with musicians playing saxophone, piano and the flute – the grandiose of the event was palatial. The team organized a champagne tower in the center of the lobby while multiple dessert counters were set up around the entrance. As you’d enter the lobby, guests were welcomed with a drink and could walk around to enjoy the festivities.

A diverse range of bar setups were seen. Molecular bar, Gin bar, Sangria bar, Mimosa bar and Tikki bar – all served their respective themed cocktails for the event. You could expect one-of-a-kind items like a live counter for alcoholic ice-creams at the MoMo café and of course the special multi-cuisine menu prepared by the team of chefs at Marriott.

As you enter further, the Amber Ballroom was decorated with flowers and drapes, along with a candy floss and chocolate fondue counter. Set ups like jewellery stall, occasion wear for the bride and groom, mehendi station, invitation cards, gifting, photographer and choreographer were installed in this space. A neon theme bar setup was done by ARK with music playing from commercial and EDM to BDM & Hip-Hop at the event.

The grand assortment was to truly visualise your big day, with the best arrangements put together by Courtyard by Marriott.
