Since day one, the cast and crew have kept the movie like an open book. Still, do we have a love triangle on the cards? Well, hailing from Kashyap’s brand of filmmaking, Manmarziyaan is bound to bring something new to the table.

Anurag Kashyap is back for his upcoming flick Manmarziyaan after sports drama Mukkabaaz. The makers shared the first look pictures of the actors. The trailer was unveiled by the cast and crew soon after the first looks. Thus the movie has already created a huge hype in the media.
This complex love tale has the right mixture of with colours, emotions, and music exciting through the story. In the trailer, when Vicky Kaushal (who plays Vicky) carries Taapsee Pannu (who plays Rumi) on his shoulders and together they walk between thatched roof houses, they are less like two split individuals and more like one whole tastelessly dressed beast. While everybody is talking about the trailer, the music of the film which is composed by Amit Trivedi has also got fans gibbering about it.
Talking about the looks of the cast, while a turbaned Abhishek is all pulling up that Punjabi-boy swag, Vicky and Taapsee seem to be the much-in-love Punjabi couple. With a Jim Morrison t-shirt and a new punk hairstyle, it takes a second to make out Kaushal in the photos. Even Pannu is looking like the mugger girl-next-door.
With Manmarziyaan, Jr. Bachchan is making his comeback on the silver screen after almost two years.
Taapsee said about the film ‘is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Anand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap.’
What’s in the Name
The makers of Manmarziyaan came up with the idea to help flood-ravaged Kerala by organising a concert or a lavish music launch well in terms of PR we can call it a promotion thus what’s in the name?
The makers announced ‘Manmarziyaan Concerts’ and transformed the way music album launches are done in the Bollywood industry. The star-cast of the film Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu & Vicky Kaushal, director Anurag Kashyap, music composer Amit Trivedi, his band and over 20 singers performed in the album tour, spread across metro cities in India.
After a triumphant tour across Mumbai, Indore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Bengaluru,
The earnings generated from the event went to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Kerala. Though it’s a free concert, audiences were encouraged to make their contributions. Apart from monetary assistance, audiences were also asked to give supplies, food, clothes, and medicine.
Amit Trivedi and his band put up a fantastic show and received a warm greeting from audiences across the cities. The pictures from the concert are all over our social media feed and we can only wonder the experience the audience will be getting from it.
Besides the marketing strategies, Manmarziyaan directed by ace director Anurag Kashyap and produced by Anand L Rai promises to be about the violence of love and we can’t wait for 14th September to arrive!
