In recent times, the dramas and movies have shifted to a more realistic angle and with OTT releases like ‘Paatal Lok’, ‘Sacred Games’ and more, winning big in award ceremonies, are hinting about the new taste of the audience.
Hence, bringing another political crime thriller story on screen, the trailer of ‘Madam Chief Minister’ is out. Helmed by Subhash Kapoor, the trailer starts with the disclaimer that the movie has no resemblance to any real life story or character. Embracing the lead role, Richa Chadha can be seen in a power-packed avatar who knows how to stay strong and sway the wind in her direction. The movie showcases the struggle of a lady in a male-ruled arena and Richa with bold diagoudles is definitely giving an edge to her character.
The movie is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, who has worked as a political journalist, and the audience is all set to see his expertise and knowledge on the large screen. Scheduled to release on 22 January in the theatres, ‘Madam Chief Minister’ also features Manav Kaul, Akshay Oberoi and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles.
