Music legend, A.R Rahman and actor-producer Kamal Haasan are all set to reunite after 19 years on magnus opus for Kamal’s most awaited political film titled Thalaivan Irukkindraan. Music maestro A.R Rahman confirmed the news recently on his twitter handle. He shared a happy picture with the Tamil actor Kamal Haasan where the two are seen sitting together on a chair posing for the camera. He expressed his happiness saying, ‘Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only @ikamalhaasan himself on a magnum opus… Watch this space for more @RKFI @lycaproductions #RKFI #lycaproductions’.

Though he didn’t mention the name of the project but the reply by Kamal Haasan on his tweet cleared the doubts and made it an official news. Thanking him for his participation, he replies, ‘Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation. Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew @RKFI @LycaProductions’.

Earlier, A.R Rahman has composed the music for Kamal Haasan’s 2000 drama-comedy Tamil language film titled Thenali in which Kamal played the role of Tenali Soman.
