Looks like, it’s the spell of birthdays! One of the favourite South Indian male singer S P Balasubramaniam was born this day in 1946. SPB has sung for many music directors in the industry. He has won laurels like Padma Shri as well as Padma Bhushan. He wasn’t famous among Bollywood or Tamil but also Telugu and Kannada others. He also produced movies.
That is not all. He has recorded more than 40 thousand songs in 16 dialects. He is one of the niftiest artists in India and also a Guinness World Records holder for singing the maximum movie songs. He has took away many prizes and honours including the recent, Silver Peacock Medal (2016).
