The sound of rain against the window, the earthy aroma after a fresh shower, and evenings that call for comfort create the perfect setting to swap refreshing summer coolers for drinks with a little more depth and warmth. Whether you’re planning a cosy night indoors, hosting friends for a monsoon get-together, or simply looking to elevate your rainy evenings, these cocktails deserve a place on your bucket list this season.
1. London Dry Gin Citrus Highball
Ingredients:
- 50 ml London Dry Gin
- 15 ml fresh lime juice
- Premium tonic water
- Grapefruit wedge
- Ice
Method:
- Pour gin and lime juice into an ice-filled highball glass and top with tonic water.
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and serve chilled.
2. Cashmir Matcha Mint Latte
Ingredients:
- 50 ml Cashmir Vodka
- 25 ml sugar syrup
- 5–6 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 30 ml hot water
- 60 ml milk
- 3–4 ice cubes
Method:
- Whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and lump-free. Set aside.
- In a shaker, gently muddle mint leaves with sugar syrup.
- Add Cashmir Vodka and ice. Shake lightly to infuse the mint without over-bruising.
- Strain into a glass with fresh ice.
- Pour in milk, then gently top with the prepared matcha for a layered effect.
- Dust with matcha powder and garnish with mint and a strawberry.
3. Sula Sunset Red Spritz
Ingredients:
- 90 ml Sula Red Wine
- 20 ml soda water
- 10 ml orange juice
- Orange peel
- Ice
Method:
- Build all ingredients in a wine glass filled with ice and stir gently.
- Garnish with an orange peel twist for a citrusy finish.
4. Whistler Mint Julep
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Whistler Whisky
- 10–15 fresh mint leaves
- 10 ml sugar syrup (or 1 tsp fine sugar)
- 10 ml lemon juice
- Crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprig (for garnish)
Method:
- Gently muddle the mint leaves with sugar syrup and lemon juice in a julep cup or rocks glass. Avoid over-crushing—just release the oils.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Pour in the Whistler Whisky.
- Stir lightly until the outside of the glass becomes frosty.
- Top with more crushed ice and garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
5. BeeYoung Ginger Kick
Ingredients:
- 60 ml BeeYoung Cocktail
- 20 ml ginger ale
- 10 ml lime juice
- Ice
- Lime wheel
Method:
- Fill a rocks glass with ice and add BeeYoung Cocktail and lime juice.
- Top with ginger ale, stir lightly, and garnish with a lime wheel.
6. Aperol Oak Spritz
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Aperol s
- 60 ml sparkling wine
- 20 ml soda water
- Orange slice
- Ice
Method:
- Fill a wine glass with ice, add Aperol and sparkling wine, and stir gently.
- Top with soda water and garnish with an orange slice.
