New Delhi | June 12–16, 2026
The National Institute of Fine Arts proudly presents Emerging Visions, a student art exhibition at Bikaner House Main Art Gallery from 12th June to 16th June 2026. The exhibition brings together original works created by students from the institute’s Diploma and Degree programs, offering a dynamic presentation of emerging artistic voices and contemporary creative expression.
At the heart of the exhibition is a strong focus on the institute’s Diploma students, young artists who have spent months developing and preparing their works specifically for this presentation. The exhibition reflects not only their technical growth, but also their individual perspectives, visual sensitivity, and evolving artistic identities. Through painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and experimental practices, the participating students present works that are deeply personal, exploratory, and rooted in original thought.
Emerging Visions celebrates the importance of art education as a foundation for independent creative practice. Each artwork included in the exhibition represents a process of observation, discipline, experimentation, and self-discovery. Rather than imitation, the exhibition emphasises originality and encourages students to develop their own visual language and artistic direction.
The exhibition also highlights the growing significance of young emerging artists within the contemporary art landscape. These students stand at the beginning of their professional journeys, bringing fresh energy and new perspectives shaped by their experiences, surroundings, and imagination. Their works engage with themes ranging from identity, emotion, memory, and human connection to nature, urban life, abstraction, and contemporary culture.
By presenting student works within a professional exhibition environment at Bikaner House, the National Institute of Fine Arts seeks to encourage confidence, visibility, and meaningful engagement for young practitioners entering the wider art world. The exhibition serves as both a celebration of artistic learning and an introduction to a new generation of creative voices.
