It’s a tough spot to get a hold in the top 16 of the Champions League but four clubs have booked a spot, including FC Barcelona, Juventus, Chelsea and Sevilla FC.
The Barcelona side beat Dynamo Kiev, 4-0 to get a spot in the top 16. Sergino Dest became the first American to score a goal for the team. Forward player Martin Braithwaite scored two goals while Anotine Griezmann kicked the fourth goal in the extra time.
As usual Cristiano Ronaldo came to the rescue of Juventus and scored a goal in the first half of the match. But the real star of the game was striker Alvaro Morata who helped the club win the game against Ferencvarosi and reach top 16 of the Champions League.
Defeating Rennes 2-1, Chelsea has sweeped and slid into the Champions League last 16, all thanks to Oliver Giroud who striked a goal at the last extra minute of the game. Same scenario with Sevilla FC who overthrew Krasnodar to enter the top 16 and credits to extra time goal by their forward, Munir El Haddadi.
