tóa 66, Churchgate’s vegetarian Thai tasting menu restaurant, unveils a new seven-course tasting menu inspired by the soulful flavours of Central and Isan Thailand. At the heart of every menu at tóa 66 is a simple question: how does Thailand truly eat? The latest offering explores this through regional recipes, local ingredients, everyday traditions, and the stories that shape Thai food culture. Alongside the refreshed food menu, the restaurant also introduces a reimagined cocktail program that draws inspiration from Bangkok’s neighbourhoods, changing seasons, and the Thai language itself.

The new tasting menu takes diners on a journey through different corners of Thailand, beginning with Naem Kruk, a crisp rice ball salad layered with kaffir lime, lemongrass, peanuts and lollo rosso, followed by Pak Mo Suki Yaki, delicate handmade rice sheets filled with water chestnut and served with suki sauce. Larb Tofu brings together toasted rice powder, cucumber and lime dressing in a refreshing take on one of Thailand’s most beloved salads, while Khao Tom offers comfort in the form of a breakfast-style soup infused with ginger and white peppercorns. The meal continues with Kaeng Pa, a vibrant jungle curry served with jasmine rice, and Phad Kee Mao, fresh noodles tossed with tofu, chilli and holy basil.

To conclude, guests can enjoy Khanom Chan, a traditional layered dessert made with rice flour, coconut malai and coconut milk, alongside Makrut, a playful dessert of chocolate espuma, kaffir lime, black sesame and citrus.

“At tóa 66, we’ve always wanted to showcase the depth and diversity of Thai cuisine beyond what people commonly know. This menu allowed us to explore ingredients, techniques and stories from different parts of Thailand while staying true to our vegetarian approach. Every dish and drink has been created to offer guests a stronger sense of place and a closer connection to Thai culture,” says Ishaa Jogani Shah, Founder of tóa 66.

While each course stands on its own, together they reflect the balance that defines Thai cuisine, sweet, sour, spicy, salty and herbal flavours coming together across a meal. From street-food influences and home-style comfort dishes to regional curries and traditional desserts, the menu offers a thoughtful introduction to dishes that are rarely seen on restaurant menus in India.

Complementing the food is an entirely refreshed cocktail program built around stories from Thailand. Spirit of the Vines, the wine-based cocktail section, pays tribute to Bangkok through drinks named after some of the city’s most recognisable neighbourhoods and streets. From Thonglor and Sukhumvit to Sathorn and Songwat, each cocktail captures the character, flavours and culture associated with its namesake. The beer-based selection, Brewed Creations, draws inspiration from the changing seasons likeSpring, Summer & Fall, translating their moods, aromas and flavours into distinctive cocktails. Meanwhile, the spirit-free menu celebrates the Thai language, with each zero-proof creation named after a key ingredient featured in the drink, offering a playful and approachable introduction to Thai flavours.

With this new menu, tóa 66 invites diners to experience Thailand through its food, drinks and stories. Whether discovering a regional dish for the first time, exploring Bangkok through a cocktail, or simply gathering around a meal with friends, the menu offers a deeper and more personal glimpse into the flavours and culture that continue to inspire the restaurant.
