Bollywood actor Sonu Sood does his bit towards the people of India during the global outbreak of COVID-19. He organized ten buses to send 350 migrant workers back home to Karnataka from Maharashtra.
His noble cause of arranging transportation for migrant workers to get back to their home states is an inspiration to every Indian. Getting permission from both the state governments, Sonu Sood was able to execute this plan of his. Now, he is also trying to send migrant labourers from Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar back to their hometown. Working with friends and NGO’s, the actor is following all the lockdown guidelines of social distancing and safety precautions.
Other than this, Sonu Sood offered one of his Mumbai hotels for the stay of frontline workers, donated PPE kits to doctors in Punjab, contributed to several charities and fed thousands during Ramadan. Hearing all this, stars from the film industry are all praises for him. See:
