Mumbai, July 2026: Juhu has a new restaurant, and beyond its gates, a whole other experience. The Gated Community is a social dining experience built for unwinding in a city that never slows down — a 3,500+ sq. ft. space unfolding across multiple sections, from a striking marble bar and a piano-anchored dining room to a living-room-style private dining room, with no shortage of spots to settle in and make it yours.

Sunday brunch at The Gated Community is made for the kind of morning that turns into an afternoon. serving together signature Benedicts, waffles and a generous spread of brunch favourites made for long, relaxed afternoons with family and friends. Whether you come in with family, a group of friends, the pace here is intentionally slow: good food, easy conversation, and no reason to rush.

Behind it are three of Mumbai’s most recognised hospitality names: Prashant Chaudhri, Puneet Gidwani and Nirmal Patel, bringing over 20+ years of hospitality experience. Their vision was simple. In a city that never seems to slow down, people deserve a place that does. The Gated Community is their answer: globally inspired sharing plates, thoughtfully curated cocktails, and a space designed for conversations that linger long after the first drink.

“Great food gets people through the door. Great experiences bring them back. That’s what we set out to create with The Gated Community,” says co-founder Prashant Chaudhri.

The menu, led by Executive Chef Aashish, draws inspiration from the founders’ travels over the past few years. From Italy’s family-run trattorias, Spain’s lively tapas bars, Japan’s tucked-away izakayas and the bold flavours of Mexico. Sharing sits at the heart of the experience, with dishes designed to be passed around the table. Signature highlights include handcrafted fresh pastas such as the Seafood Linguine, Cacio e Pepe with truffle mushroom and Basil and Broccoli Pesto with burrata, alongside the delicate Thai Steamed Fish and a selection of grills that is perfect for sharing.

The culinary programme is led by Executive Chef Aashish, whose approach balances comfort with creativity. Familiar flavours are reimagined with thoughtful technique, creating dishes that feel approachable while offering something unexpected with every visit.

At the bar, every cocktail begins with curiosity. The programme unfolds in three chapters: signature concoctions, twisted classics, and boozy dessert-inspired cocktails. Using techniques such as fat-washing, whey clarification, hydrosol distillation and smoke, each drink is crafted to surprise, spark conversation and invite curiosity.

Guests can settle in at the striking long marble bar, dine beside the grand piano at large communal tables or smaller intimate settings, or celebrate special occasions in The Oak Room, a private dining space. The Gated Community opened its doors on Friday, 24th July, and before the end of the year, the experience will grow further with a rooftop destination that takes it beyond its current gates.

Above all, The Gated Community is an invitation to slow down: to gather with friends, to share generously, and to stay a little longer. In a city that rarely pauses, that is the true luxury.

The Gated Community is open daily from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 1:30 am. Average price for two is INR 3,500 (without alcohol). Located at Vaishali Shopping Centre, next to Options Showroom, Juhu, Mumbai.

Do look for the gates.
