The extravagant winter-wonderland themed pre-wedding festivities in Switzerland is something only the Ambani’s are capable to pull-off. Yes, you hear it right, Switzerland. Just recently we were done gaping at Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s, only daughter, Isha Ambani’s larger-than-life wedding celebration. And now the rich family is all set for yet another extravagant wedding celebration of their son, Akash Ambani with Shloka Mehta, who had got engaged in Mumbai last year.
The Bollywood’s stars reached the venue and are staying at the uber-luxurious Badrutt Palace and soaking in the lavish celebration. The big names include Ranbir, Alia, Karan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Karisma Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Disha Patani, Ayan Mukerji, Zaheer Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Manish Malhotra and Rajkumar Hirani among others.
While reports suggest that the delectable menu is being taken care by the MasterChef Nobu Matsuhisa, the other reports are sending in the carnival setup pictures at the luxury Alpine resort town of St. Moritz. The renowned band Coldplay was roped in to play for the night, which is just wow. The carnival has been glammed-up with Ferries Wheels and fireworks. The couple arrived in a white horse carriage where the bride-to-be wore a white dress paired with a fur coat with her fiancé Akash who wore an all-grey suit. Later the couple wore traditional attires.
And if this is not all, reports have also claimed that Maroon 5 will perform for the Ambanis at the sangeet in India. ‘Since Shloka and Akash are both fans of Maroon 5, the family thought it fitting to have them perform for the couple at the sangeet that will be held on March 8. While Akash’s favourite track is Sugar in which the band has seen gate-crashing weddings, Shloka loves Move Like Jagger.’
The wedding is all set to take place on March 9th, at Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
